Our recent stay was a blissful escape surrounded by nature. We had a lovely experience with our family celebrating Christmas, enjoying vibrant live music and the stunning natural views. The communal bathrooms were a bit tricky to navigate, especially for the kids at night, but overall, we had a great time with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. It's worth noting that the resort was undergoing renovations, so we saw some improvements on the horizon, and I hope they’ll continue to enhance the facilities.

The cabin rooms were decent, providing a rustic charm though lacking private bathrooms. They had comfortable shared facilities, and I really appreciated the natural ambiance.

Food was available at the clubhouse, and it was quite enjoyable, although options felt limited. We often brought our own snacks, which worked out well for the kids.

I had a fantastic time at the resort! It's perfect for team building and family getaways, with a variety of activities available. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The location was a bit remote, but once there, the beauty of the area made it worth the journey. However, the communal bathroom situation was a bit challenging for our family.

We stayed in the VIP Amihan Kubo accommodation, which was spacious and comfortable with bamboo beds. No air conditioning, but the cool breeze made it pleasant.

The service was good, with helpful staff who provided a free shuttle to the clubhouse. However, all guest services ended by 8 PM, which was a bit of a downside for late-night needs.
Location

The resort is located in a serene area of Cavinti, Laguna, about 3-4 hours from Manila, making it a great escape from the city. However, the remoteness might not appeal to everyone.

My family of seven had a fun overnight stay at VIP Amihan Kubo, with plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained. The natural setting was a refreshing escape, and the communal facilities were generally clean, but the challenges of shared bathrooms and no air conditioning might not suit everyone. Overall, it was a pleasant trip, though a couple of things could be improved for comfort.

Rooms
8.0
The Kubo accommodation was spacious with two queen-sized bamboo beds, though it lacked air conditioning. It was cool enough during our stay, but those sensitive to the cold might want to bring extra blankets.
Service
7.0
There was no room service at the Kubo, which made it a bit challenging. However, the staff at the clubhouse were friendly and helpful, providing a shuttle service to and from there.
Location
9.0
The location is great, right next to a lot of adventure activities like swimming, duck feeding, and a hanging bridge, plus it’s near the lake and other facilities.
Dining
6.0
Food options were limited to the clubhouse restaurant, which had decent meals but required planning. We found it best to bring our own snacks and meals for convenience.
Facilities
6.0
The communal toilets and bath area were sufficient and clean, but I wish there were more amenities within the Kubo itself. The lack of Wi-Fi and TV was a downside, but it encouraged more family games.

We had a lovely time staying at the VIP Amihan Kubo with our family of seven. The natural setting was refreshing, and we truly enjoyed the lack of mosquitoes and flies. However, some elements like the communal bathrooms could be challenging, especially for the kids during the night. The accommodation was basic, but overall it was an unforgettable nature experience. Enjoyment was abundant, but do prepare for some inconveniences like no air conditioning and no room service.
